6. Jul 23,  · Based on reviews left by other Amazon users, I started listening to Gaslight Anthem with "59 Sound". That is an excellent place to start, even though I already had the title track to this album. The more I listen, the more I think I like this album better. I love "45", and "Handwritten" quickly made its way into my list of all-time favorite songs/5().

7. Sure, The Gaslight Anthem wear their influences on their sailor tattooed sleeves, but they also manage to create a very fresh and exciting sound alongside it. There’s enough ”Ë sha-la-la’s’ and ”Ë woah-woah-woah’s’ on this album to keep both the stadium rockers and the old punks happy, and enough songs about heartbreak, radios.
